Oliver Ressler
born 1970 in Knittelfeld, Austria, lives and works in Vienna. He
studied at the University for Applied Arts, Vienna. In 1998 he was
artist-in-resident at Banff Centre for the Arts, Banff, Canada. Oliver
Ressler is an artist who carries out projects on various
socio-political themes. Since 1994 he has been concerned with
exhibitions, projects in public space and videos on issues such as
racism, migration, genetic engineering, economic globalization, social
alternatives and various forms of resistance. Selected solo
