Rula Halawani
born 1964 in East Jerusalem, Palestine, works and resides in Jerusalem,
Palestine. She has a B.A. in Math & Photography from University of
Saskatchewan, Canada. Masters in photographic studies, University of
Westminster, London, UK. She has been an artist-in-residence in
Marseille and London. Since 2001 she is professor of photography at
Birzeit University, Palestine. She has worked as a photojournalist
since Palestine, working for international press and press agencies.

Germany (2004); Noorderlicht Photo festival, Leeuwarden, Holland
